Do they really turn on by themselves?
Yes. Each stake has a built-in light sensor that detects dusk and dawn. They power on at sunset and off at sunrise — every night, automatically. No app, no schedule, no switch.
How long do they stay lit?
A full day of direct sun gives you up to 8 hours of warm glow. On cloudier days, expect 4–6 hours.
Can I leave them outside in winter?
Yes. They're rated IP65 — rain, snow, frost, sprinklers, and pool splashes are all fine. Just avoid full submersion.
How do I install them?
Push the metal stake into soil. That's it. No tools, no wiring, no batteries to insert. They arrive pre-charged so they'll glow the first night you plant them.
How tall are they?
About 30 inches tall once staked into soil. The flower head sits at roughly knee-height for an average adult — the same eye-line as most garden borders.
Can I use them indoors?
Technically, yes — but they need at least a few hours of direct sunlight a day to charge. A sunny windowsill works. A dim hallway doesn't.
Are they safe around pets and kids?
100%. Low-voltage LEDs run cool to the touch and there are no exposed wires or hot bulbs. The stake is the only sharp part — plant it where small feet won't trip on it.
